It is becoming increasingly common for trojan horses to avoid detection by major brands of antivirus software. If you run a scan with your current antivirus software and the results show no infected files, the most probable reason for this is your antivirus software is simply failing to detect the infected files.
One reason for this is your antivirus has not been updated with the most current virus definition files. Or the trojan horse or virus has disabled the program, rendering it essentially useless. Another possiblilty is the antivirus software simply cannot detect it, even after the most current updates.
If this is the case, even after you update your antivirus with the most current virus definition files, don't assume your system is clean. Instead, we either recommend trying different programs until the trojan is found, or have it checked out by a computer technician.
If you decide to have it examined by a computer technician, please leave your computer disconnected from the Internet as much as possible until it is cleaned. Doing this may help eliminate further complaints which may result in an account suspension.
